The Choices Program invites you to join us for an introductory workshop in Baldwin Park, CA.
During this interactive workshop, you will:
EXPLORE the Choices curriculum units The Middle East: Questions for U.S. Policy and Immigration and the U.S. Policy Debate (provided) and discuss ways to implement them into history, geography or current issues courses;
UNDERSTAND why teachers in 1/3 of U.S. schools find our inquiry-based approach helps all students think critically about the world around them; and
EXPERIENCE the Choices options role-play activity, which builds students' civic literacy skills.

Who Should Attend: U.S. History, Current Issues and Geography teachers are the main audience. Materials are appropriate for grades 7-12. Humanities teachers often use our materials and are encouraged to attend.
